Good news for anyone planning a vacation to Bali. Because as of today, March 7, 2022, foreign tourists can again spend their holidays in Bali without having to go into quarantine first. The current corona easing makes it possible and initially only applies to Bali, by far the most popular travel destination in Indonesia. The easing was originally announced for March 14, but now comes into effect a week earlier than planned.

Bali vacationers must be at least twice vaccinated

Tourists from Germany and around 20 other countries can now also obtain a visa for a 30-day stay when entering Bali. The visa cost is 500,000 Indonesian rupees. The quarantine obligation is no longer valid in Bali, but the following requirements must be observed:

  • Vacationers must be vaccinated at least twice, a booster vaccination is not necessary.
  • Proof of vaccination and a hotel booking of at least 4 days must be available upon entry.
  • PCR tests: PCR tests must be carried out on the first and third day after entry.
